Mr. Jeff Wing, Director of the National Scholarship Office, will present an information session about different national scholarship opportunities available to VCU students on Friday, March 27, at noon in Room 1303 at the Honors College (701 W. Grace St.). First- and second-year students are especially encouraged to attend. Upper class and grad students are also welcome.  Mr. Wing will repeat this information session on Tuesday, March 31, at 2pm, in the Forum Room at the Student Commons.

During these information sessions, Mr. Wing will offer an overview of several (inter)nationally competitive scholarships/fellowships, including Rhodes, Marshall, Fulbright, Truman, Goldwater, Boren, and Critical Language Scholarships. He will also discuss strategies for how potential candidates can make themselves more competitive for these prestigious awards. Most of these awards do require candidates to be US citizens.
