VA Cap Sem 9-30-2013 digital

Make the most of your spring semester with a one-of-a-kind of internship, challenging college courses, well-known guest speakers and all the excitement of Virginia politics. Participating in Virginia Capital Semester will give you a “behind-the-scenes” view of Virginia state government and politics as you work alongside the decision-makers in the legislative and executive branches of government.

There will be an information session for the Capital Semester program at 1PM on Mon., Sept. 30 in room 1303 of The Honors College (701 W. Grace St.).  Virginia Capital Semester offers students the opportunity to experience an internship in state government while continuing their studies on a full-time basis through course-work at VCU.  For more information, please visit http://www.wilder.vcu.edu/service/capsem/index.html.

If you are unable to attend the session, but are interested in Capital Semester, please contact Ms. D. Gay Cutchin, Internship Coordinator in the Wilder School, dcutchin@vcu.edu.
