PMF 9-23-2013 digital flyerThere will be three information sessions about the Presidential Management Fellowship Program on Fri., September 27 at noon on the MCV campus in the room 5-101 of the McGlothlin Medical Education Center (MMEC, 1201 E. Marshall St.), 2 PM in room 401 of Scherer Hall (923 W. Franklin St.) and 4 PM in seminar room 3100 of the Academic Learning Commons (1000 Floyd Ave.).

The goal of the Presidential Management Fellowship program is to recruit into the federal government graduate students who are interested in a career in public service, particularly working for the federal government.  Applicants from ALL academic disciplines who have a strong commitment and interest in public sector careers are encouraged to apply.

Candidates for the Presidential Management Fellowship should have a strong academic record and be completing a graduate degree by August 2014.

At each information session, Dr. Charles Conyers, a graduate of VCU’s Wilder School and a former Presidential Management Fellow, will share his experiences with the PMF and working in the Office of Personnel Management for the federal government.  ALL graduate students, regardless of discipline, are encouraged to attend to learn more about the PMF.  Undergraduates are also welcome.  For more information, visit www.pmf.gov/ or email honorsnsotar@vcu.edu.
