Blackboard Learn Upgrade – May 17th, 2016
The VCU Blackboard system will be upgraded to a newer version beginning at 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 17th, 2016.
Begin Time: Tuesday, May 17th, 2016, 8:00pm (EST)
End Time: Wednesday, May 18th, 2016, 8:00pm (EST)
Blackboard will NOT be available during the upgrade, starting at 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 17th. We expect the upgrade to take less than 24 hours, so check this blog for updates which will be posted when the system is brought back online.
All previously existing courses will be kept on the system and will be available after the upgrade. In addition, tutorials and help will be updated and available in the Technology Services askIT Knowledge Base for Blackboard after the upgrade. The new version is Blackboard Learn 9.1 Q4 2015.
