Wimba Classroom Downtime Scheduled for Aug. 6, 2011
We received notice from Blackboard Collaborate (formerly Wimba) that they will be updating our Wimba Classroom server on Saturday, August 6th, from 10:00pm until Sunday, August 7th at 7:00 am.
This upgrade will address server-side enhancements only, therefore you will not see any changes to the user interface.
They expect the upgrade to take approximately one hour, but this may vary within the maintenance window depending on the size of our installation. During this time, Wimba Classroom services, including live sessions and recordings, will be unavailable.
Please note that the VCU Blackboard system WILL still be available. Only Wimba Classroom will be affected during this downtime.
