The ITCC at Virginia Commonwealth University serves to enhance technical knowledge and promote career development by facilitating networking, mentoring, and learning activities within the University. The elected Leadership Team serves as the ITCC’s voice to university administration in matters related to the execution of all community activities.

This month we’re announcing our “Bridging the Gap” event, in which we will be joined by Bobby Keener of Civilian Cyber. We’ve also shared some news from our friends in the Staff Senate, including Employee Appreciation Week and the T.E.A.M. conference which started today!

VCU Staff Senate Awards for Excellence

Open until March 15, 2022

Please take the time and nominate your colleagues in TS (and elsewhere) for the amazing work that they do! Nominations are open until March 15th, and each winner receives a $1,000 award. These awards are the premier university awards offered within VCU, for staff members, by staff members. Please make us proud and nominate as many of your colleagues as you can….we want to see more IT winners this year…it’s up to us to get our nominations/names out there!

“Together Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M)” Career Development Conference

March 7 – 11, 2022

Taking place during Spring Break March 7-11; this is free for all VCU and VCU Health System staff members to register and attend. Check out the site to view the agenda/speaker info and you can register individually for the sessions you want to attend. Everything is virtual via Zoom, and free to attend.
