What tools helped you the most when you started out?
I leaned into my colleagues that attended VCU Brandcenter and business school for some basic information. I also did a lot of independent research about my industry and how I could create a niche brand.
What was the biggest challenge to maintaining your business?
Scaling. Initially I scaled too large, which cost me a lot of unnecessary funds.
What advice do you have for people considering starting a business?
Start small, do your research and have a viable business model that you can sustain.
