Catch a baseball game with VCU Alumni
This summer, VCU Alumni is going out to the ballgame, and you’re invited. Cheer along with fellow Rams at any of these events. As part of the fun, enjoy extras such as food, co-branded baseball caps and a chance to welcome the newest members of the VCU Ramily.
VCU Day at Nationals Park — Washington Nationals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
4-7 p.m. July 27
The first 1,500 fans to purchase a ticket online receive a limited-edition, co-branded VCU/Nationals hat. Before the game, come to The Salt Line (79 Potomac Ave. SE) from 1:30-3:30 p.m. to welcome the Class of 2023. Game tickets are $41 online; the student send-off is free.
VCU Night with the Salem Red Sox — Salem Red Sox vs. Lynchburg Hillcats
7-9 p.m. Aug. 2
Help the Class of 2023 get ready for college life in a fun and casual atmosphere. Your $10 ticket includes admission to the game and a buffet featuring hot dogs, hamburgers and other classic summer food and beverages. Kids 12 and under free.
VCU Alumni Baltimore Chapter Orioles Game — Baltimore Orioles vs. Houston Astros
7-9 p.m. Aug. 10
The first 100 people at the 5 p.m. pregame social at Sliders Bar & Grille (504 Washington Blvd.) receive a voucher for a VCU/Orioles co-branded hat. Tickets are $25 for upper reserve section 342 behind home plate.
