Endodontics Advisory Board – First Meeting
The Department of Endodontics Advisory Board held its organizational meeting on May 18-19 and I am happy to have had the opportunity to participate. This first meeting was held in conjunction with a Legacy Day to celebrate past program directors and alumni. A CE program by Drs. Levin and Kottal on Limited Field Cone Beam Computed Tomography in Endodontics was also part of the great event of our school. The department welcomed back past department chairs and program directors Drs. Marshall England, John Holcomb, Neil Dodds, Gary Hartwell, and Ellen Byrne, and Fred Liewehr.

I enjoyed attending and learning about the history of the department and program development beginning in 1971. It was also great to spend time with alumni and the current and past faculty members. I particularly enjoyed hearing the chairs and program directors reminiscence about their involvement in the program and I heard some touching and funny stories. Thank to our current department chair, Dr. Karan Replogle for putting this program together.
