Commencement and Hooding – Class of 2012
Wow! Another great graduating DDS and Dental Hygiene class! Maybe I am getting older (Oh yes, guess I am!) but seems we just graduated the 2011 class. We filled the Richmond Center Stage auditorium for the Hooding and Pinning Ceremony on Friday May 10 for a fun and celebratory ceremony. I am not much into serious and dull ceremonies that people want to forget. Congratulations to the Class of 2012 and best wishes in your lives and careers. I was honored to announce these students to the VCU President for conferring of their degrees and to recognized their combined gift and pledge of over $150,000 to benefit their school and future students.
Following the VCU Commencement Ceremony on Saturday morning, the students returned to the school to pick up their diplomas. We hope you return to VCU School of Dentistry often in the future. Here are few photos from Saturday morning.
