Uh-oh, the big four o

At age 40 the Division of Dental Hygiene is enjoying midlife, not suffering a crisis. Students, faculty, alumnae and friends showed up in record numbers for the “Birthday Bash” on Saturday night of Reunion and Alumni Weekend.
Signature balloons decorated the ballroom of the Omni Hotel and guests danced the night away to Top-40 tunes from the last 40 years. Ms. Kim Isringhausen reported, “This is the first dental hygiene event that any of the members of the first graduating class turned out for. They loved it – had a wonderful time.”
Previous program directors Ms. Janet Scharer and Dr. Ann Dinius were among the last people to leave and both women commented that they felt like great things were happening in dental hygiene.
