Kickstarter CEO Visits VCU
Friday, February 16, 2024 VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation was excited to host a day with Everette Taylor, Kickstarter CEO, the world’s premiere crowdfunding platform for creative projects.
Taylor, a seasoned entrepreneur since the age of 19 with his company EZ Events, has garnered recognition, including being listed on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” in 2018 and 2019 for his contributions to ET Enterprises. His career also saw him as the Chief Marketing Officer of Skurt, Qualaroo, and Sticker Mule, where he consistently led his teams to innovative and successful outcomes.
During his visit, Taylor engaged with leadership, graduate students of the Master of Product Innovation (MPI) program, and listened to over 30 pitches from entrepreneurs in the Shift Retail Lab. With his extensive background in creative entrepreneurship, Taylor provided valuable personal insights into the journey of professional creation.
