Wireless Presentation Devices Issue
Due to the worldwide PHP vulnerability identified last week, we have had to apply some additional network security measures that has affected some primary functions of the wireless presentation devices across campus. These measures will remain in effect until the manufacturer is able to publish a patch for the vulnerability. They have identified a release date of October 30th for this patch. Once published we will begin the effort of updating all wireless presentation devices with the patch so that we can restore standard network functionality for them. This could take some time, but we will move as efficiently as possible to update. Please be prepared to use alternative connection options to your AV Systems such as an HDMI cable to the HDMI input through the week of November 2-6.
