Join us to explore how Top Hat is meeting these challenges head-on with Ace, our AI-powered teaching and learning assistant. Discover how to leverage Ace intentionally to personalize learning, generate interactive content in seconds, and streamline your workflow both inside and outside the classroom. You’ll also learn about the dedicated support available to you both locally on campus and directly from Top Hat to help you confidently integrate these new tools.

Beyond the VCU-specific session focusing on Top Hat’s ACE AI tool, virtual office hours and walkthroughs are available from August 11 to September 11, 2026.
To help faculty get the most out of Top Hat, there are two session types:
- 20-Minute Feature Walkthroughs: Targeted deep dives into specific areas of the platform. The topics were selected based on the questions and support cases Top Hat receives most frequently during this time of year.
- 90-Minute Drop-In Office Hours: Open sessions for existing users where faculty can get 1:1 help. Participants will be admitted on an ongoing basis throughout the session, and are encouraged to come prepared with specific questions.
Please note, these sessions are not introductory, rather, they are designed to proactively provide faculty with options for 1:1 support during the start of the semester rush.
