Zoom in the Classroom

This page provides useful tips for using the classroom system in conjunction with Zoom.  Keep in mind, most systems are considered “standard Zoom classrooms”, which means they have podium microphones and a document camera.  “Advanced Zoom Classrooms” also have room cameras.

Software Questions and Requests

All Software requests should be submitted by emailing classroomtech@vcu.edu. The Labs and Classroom Computing team will evaluate your request on a case-by-case basis depending on the software availability. The base-image software list is available on our Classroom Resource Podium Computer page. Some of these applications may still require licensing activation to be coordinated with your department.
