Top Hat Training for Faculty
Now that Top Hat is free for VCU students, it is the perfect time to learn how to use Top Hat to engage students in an active learning environment. Top Hat also integrates with Canvas, VCU’s learning management system. Sponsored by Academic Technologies, Top Hat specialists will deliver online training sessions for VCU faculty. An introductory overview on August 5th, 2:00-3:00pm, will cover classroom polling, slide presentations, gradebook and low cost interactive textbooks. Another overview plus best practices is offered on September 8th 11:00am – 12:00pm. These sessions are free and there is no cancellation penalty. Register now at training.vcu.edu.
