State of the University Address Thursday, January 31, 2019
Virginia Commonwealth University President Michael Rao, Ph.D., will deliver his sixth State of the University address this Thursday, January 31, 2019.
The address will focus on the success of VCU’s recently completed strategic plan and national prominence and will announce a new initiative to secure VCU and Richmond as a national model for health care innovation.
The speech will take place at 11 a.m. in Lecture Hall 303 of James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave. Sign language interpreters will be on-hand for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. Seating will be limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. For those unable to attend the event in person, the address will stream on VCU’s homepage and Facebook page.
