Winter Storm Preparedness Tips

  • Prepare your emergency kit with non-perishable food, water, batteries and other supplies that can last you and your family for two to three days.
  • Consider purchasing items such as rock salt, sand, ice scrapers and shovels, and keep extra blankets in your car and home.
  • Prepare your vehicle by making sure your gas tank is at least half-full, the antifreeze is sufficient, and that your tire treads and windshield wipers are in good condition.
