Update on Dean Search, May 12th
Dear School of Dentistry Community:
It is my pleasure as Chair of the School of Dentistry Dean Search Committee to provide you with regular updates about the search process. The search began this week with the first meeting of the search committee (see list of members below) and Michael Baer and Amy Segal from the Isaacson, Miller search firm. The purpose was to receive the Committee charge from Senior VP of Health Sciences Dr. Arthur Kellermann, review the search process, and collect input about the desired characteristics of the new dean. In addition, the Isaacson, Miller team has met with multiple School individuals, deans, the Advisory Board, student officers, staff, and alumni to gather information and suggestions.
A general meeting for the Isaacson, Miller team to meet with the School Faculty is scheduled for May 17th at 3:30-4:15 pm [Meeting link https://zoom.us/j/95331607525 ]
Over the next couple of weeks the position description will be written and posted as soon as it receives final approval.
