B.S.W. student, Lauren Null, receives the Cesare and Ida Sclarandis Scholarship.
Congratulations to Lauren Null. She is one of a number of outstanding students to receive the Cesare and Ida Sclarandis Scholarship.
The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work and alumna Audrey Sclarandis jointly created the award to honor the memory of Audrey’s grandparents. The purpose of this award is to support students in their pursuit of culturally enriching learning experiences that will enhance future social work careers in the multidisciplinary areas of culture and systemic issues.
This August, Lauren will be traveling to Costa Rica with Whole Planet Foundation, a micro lending nonprofit created by Whole Foods Market. She hopes to continue working with the Whole Planet Foundation in an international capacity.
