Welcome Yeimarie Lopez to the Office of Student Success
The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work welcomes a new member of the student success team. Yeimarie Lopez, M.S.W. joins the school’s Office of Student Success as the Student Engagement Coordinator.
Yeimarie earned her B.S.W. from VCU and her M.S.W. from the University of Michigan. While pursuing her degrees, Yeimarie worked closely with prospective and current students at both institutions. She worked diligently to promote a positive and enriching college experience for all students. During her time at Michigan she worked as a Graduate Student Staff Assistant. In this role she was responsible for planning student programs, implementing school-wide volunteer activities and arranging individualized visits for prospective students and their families.
Yeimarie is located in room 3106 in the Academic Learning Commons.
We are very excited for Yeimarie to continue her excellent student support at VCU.
