Nine VCU School of Pharmacy students and one faculty member were invited to join the VCU chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, the induction for which took place Nov. 19 at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

New initiates are fourth-year Pharm.D. students Aulbrey Drisaldi, Alyssa Kaufman, Agneta Liubinaite, Sean McCullough, Kristen Morris and Dan Nichols; graduate students Ahmad Aslam (Medicinal Chemistry) and Toni Coe and Emmanuel Cudjoe (Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science); and assistant professor Emily Peron of the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science.

Tom Reinders, associate dean for admissions and student services, was on hand at the ceremony to represent the School of Pharmacy and greet inductees.

Phi Kappa Phi, founded in 1897, promotes and recognizes academic excellence in all academic disciplines. The VCU chapter was established in 1976. Student membership is based on a minimum 3.5 grade point average and class rank.
