Heather J. Fye, Ph.D.

Heather is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at Winona State University. She received a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University, M.Ed. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Ph.D. from Kent State University. While at KSU, she received advanced training in quantitative statistics and factor analysis. She is a certified K-12 school counselor in PA.  Heather is also an alumnus of Dr. Gnilka’s research team from KSU.

Randall M. Moate, Ph.D.

Randy works as an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of Texas Tyler.  Randy’s clinical experiences have come from working in private practice and college counseling settings.  As a researcher he has published eight peer reviewed journal publications and 22 presentations that primarily focus on stress, coping, perfectionism, and teaching in counselor education.  Dr. Moate received his Bachelors degree from Hartwick College, his Masters degree from Western Illinois University, and his Doctorate from Kent State University. Randy is also an alumnus of Dr. Gnilka’s research team from KSU.

Erin M. West, Ph.D.

Erin graduated with her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Kent State University in 2016 and currently works as a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at the University of Texas at Tyler.  She has experience working as a counselor in public school, private school, community mental health agency, and college counseling center settings.  The majority of her counseling work experience has been with youth and families.  Erin enjoys maintaining an active research agenda exploring topics related to working with clients living in poverty, Adlerian approaches to school and clinical mental health counseling, resiliency factors in single parent families, and teaching in counselor education.  She has appreciated opportunities to collaborate with different colleagues on research and have her research published in various journals including Counselor Education and SupervisionJournal of Counseling and DevelopmentMeasurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, and the Early Childhood Education Journal.  She has also presented her research at regional and national conferences. Erin is also an alumnus of Dr. Gnilka’s research team from KSU.
