Healing Narratives Art Exhibit

Check out the new Healing Narratives Art Exhibit at VCU Health.

The Healing Narratives art exhibit brings together the research and perspectives of BIPOC with IDD (co-researchers) to create a powerful narrative around patient-doctor communication. The artwork, which includes digital media sculptures, paintings, and photographs, is informed by the co-researcher’s experiences navigating healthcare systems, as well.

The goal of Healing Narratives is to capture the experiences of BIPOC with IDD (co-researchers) regarding their experiences with their patient-doctor communication and disseminate information on how to improve patient-doctor communication by using participatory research methods.

The art exhibit is located at the Main Hospital outside of Panera.
