Deborah McGuire receives ISOO Distinguished Service Award
Deborah McGuire, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, associate dean for Research, Scholarship, and Innovation, and the Florence E. Elliott Professor, was recently awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the International Society of Oral Oncology (ISOO). McGuire has more than 10 years of service to the organization, including her election as its first nurse president.
The ISOO Distinguished Service Award recognizes meritorious achievement and contributions to the organization. Its mission is to promote scientific exchange among health care professionals in oncology, cytotoxic therapy and its impact on the oral environment.
