Langston Center hosts collaboration in health care lecture
The Langston Center for Quality, Safety and Innovation recently hosted a lecture on “Enhancing Collaboration: Towards an Evidence Informed Future in Health Care Quality,” presented by Sean P. Clarke, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, professor and associate dean, Undergraduate Program, Connell School of Nursing, Boston College. Clarke discussed the history of interprofessional health care teams and how high functioning teams make services affordable, safe and patient centered. He also provided future recommendations to improve practice, education and research related to health care teams.
