School of Nursing hosts excellence in teaching lecture
As part of the VCU School of Nursing 2016 Lecture Series, Louise S. Jenkins, Ph.D., RN, FAHA, ANEF, professor and director of the Institute for Educators in Nursing and Health Professions at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, recently presented “Pathways to Excellence in Teaching Nursing.” Jenkins discussed the obstacles new faculty face during their career journey and ways to overcome adversity in higher education.
