Attention Honors College Sophomore and Juniors!
Have you ever thought about graduate school? Perhaps the whole process seems a bit mystifying or confusing and you’re not sure if graduate school is the right path for you. Or maybe you know you’d like to continue your education but aren’t sure how to get started. If any of this sounds familiar, you should consider Commonwealth Graduate Education Day!
This fall, the Honors College is pleased to partner with the Graduate School and provide students the opportunity to attend this event, hosted by the Virginia Council of Graduate Schools. The graduate school is seeking several Honors College students who represent the most eager and dedicated of our community, especially those who come from underrepresented populations.
This is not recruitment fair. The primary goals of this event are to expand students’ knowledge of what graduate education is, inform them of the path to graduate education, and to encourage promising students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds to consider graduate education in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The event is scheduled for October 30th from 10am to 3pm and will be held on the VCU campus. Complimentary lunch will be provided for participants
