A Spring 2016 internship opportunity with the JICC opened up last month to students currently enrolled in a four-year degree program with two or more years of undergraduate study completed. We would like to encourage VCU students to apply for this position if it aligns with your career goals. The application period is open until November 18th, 2015. Additionally, the JICC is currently hosting the 2015 Autumn Haiku Contest with the Japan-America Society of Washington DC (JASW). The contest is open to the public and will run until November 21st. All haiku submissions will be judged by an expert panel, and prizes include guaranteed spots at Embassy and JASW events, cultural items, and more.
