IMPORTANT – Blackboard Learn Upgrade
We will soon be upgrading to the latest version of Blackboard Learn™, Service Pack 14 (SP14), which will provide a more user friendly and modern experience.
Blackboard will not be accessible during the upgrade starting at 9:30am on Thursday, May 15 and will last approximately 24-36 hours. Many existing features have been improved and some exciting new features added to make your day more efficient.
This new version will be used starting with the 2014 summer semester. All previously existing courses will be kept on the system and will be available after the upgrade. In addition, tutorials and help will be updated and available in the Technology Services askIT Knowledge Base for Blackboard 9.1 SP14 after the upgrade.
Throughout the summer and early fall, Blackboard will be providing a variety of online and face-to-face training opportunities for VCU. This training begins on May 20, 21 and 22 with instructor-led online webinars. Visit training.vcu.edu (keyword: Blackboard) to register!
