SafeAssign Maintenance: September 6, 2013
We received the following bulletin from Blackboard:
Bulletin/Advisory Information: The SafeAssign service will be upgraded on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM US Eastern (GMT-4). Although we do not anticipate any downtime, during this deployment window users may experience an error while using SafeAssign features. Although immediately resubmitting the action should succeed, we suggest avoiding submissions during this window as a precaution.
This update to the SafeAssign central service includes fixes to the following SafeAssign issues:
- Instructions do not display on the “View SafeAssignment” page
- Instructor does not receive an error message when a paper fails to process through DirectSubmit .
Use of SafeAssign can continue as normal after the planned downtime is complete.
