Self-assembly of Colloidal Nanoparticles in Printing Processes

Ph.D. Graduate student position:

We are looking for well-motivated graduate students to join the Micro/Nano Transport and Printed Devices lab in Fall 2019. The research area will encompass solid-liquid interactions, thermal-fluid surface interactions across multiple length and time scales, inkjet printing, electrohydrodynamic printing, and 3D printing. Highly motivated students with a minimum BS degree in Mechanical engineering, Chemical engineering, Material science & engineering or related disciplines are encouraged to apply. Some experiences in fabrication of functional electronic devices and coating techniques will be a plus, but not required. The successful candidate should have strong passion in doing research in lab environment, and demonstrate proficiency in English to meet the TOEFL (or IELTS) and GRE requirements of the VCU School of Engineering.
