As the on-campus housing assignments process continues, please be aware of an important relocation clarification for this summer. This message is specifically for students currently living in Ackell Residence Center, Broad and Belvidere, Grace and Broad, or West Grace North. There is a three-week period of time this summer in which residents returning to live on campus for the 2022-23 academic year have a gap between the two contract periods (current contract ends on July 15 and the next begins on August 8). Residents returning to assignments in Ackell Residence Center, Broad and Belvidere, Grace and Broad, and West Grace North, will need to temporarily vacate their assigned apartment and remove all their belongings from their on-campus apartment.

Residential Life and Housing has limited space to provide temporary on-campus relocation for residents that are unable to return to a permanent residence or need assistance during this time. There will be no additional cost to students for this temporary relocation. This temporary relocation will take place between the end of the 2021-22 contract, the week of July 11, and the start of the 2022-23 contract, on Aug. 8. During this time, Residential Life and Housing will conduct comprehensive cleaning of all apartments and assess any needed repairs. During this temporary relocation time, all residents will be required to move all belongings.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as RLH works to schedule adequate cleaning and complete maintenance within the residence halls. We hope this notice provides you with time to plan for this temporary relocation.

Residents affected by this change will receive a form the week of March 21 to let us know their temporary relocation plan.
