The following email was sent to first-year residents on July 9, 2025:
Good Afternoon,
We are writing to apologize for an error in the move-in dates listed in the room assignment email you received from [email protected] on July 1, 2025, with the subject, 2025-2026 VCU Housing Assignment. We understand how important accurate information is and apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Please see the correct move-in dates below:
Friday, August 15
Saturday, August 16
During the week of July 21, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions to sign up for your move-in timeslot. You’ll be able to select a specific date and time on a first-come, first-served basis.
Residential Life and Housing will also be hosting two virtual move-in information sessions:
Monday, July 28, 12-1 p.m.
Tuesday, August 5, 6-7 p.m.
