Presentation to the Old Dominion Dental Society
I was pleased to be invited to provide an update on the VCU School of Dentistry and discuss recruitment of underrepresented minority students. This marked the 101th year for the ODDS. Additional speakers I was privileged to hear were Dr. Harold Marioneaux, Director of the Dental Hygiene program at Thomas Nelson Community College and Mr. Robert Johns, Executive Director for the National Dental Association. Congratulations to Dr. Jason Paige and Dr. Lori Wilson for being awarded the President’s Award and Dentist of the Year Award, respectively.
