VCU ASDA Wins Ideal Chapter Award
The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) recently held their Annual Session in Anaheim, California on March 2-6, where the prestigious Ideal ASDA Chapter Awards were presented. The Ideal ASDA Chapter Awards Program honors outstanding achievements by ASDA chapters. Awards are presented for 12 categories, such as membership and communications, advocacy, fundraising, activities, predental involvement, and ethics. One chapter is awarded the overall Ideal ASDA Chapter Award, which is presented to the chapter that excels in each category.
This year, 27 applications were received for the Ideal ASDA Award, which is the largest number of applications since the award program began in 1996. I am pleased to inform you that our ASDA chapter received the Ideal ASDA Award for Increasing Ethical Awareness. I am very proud of the accomplishments made by our chapter.
