Appointment to position as dean – thank you!
Since the annoucement went out earlier this week, my inbox has been flooded with congratulations and well wishes from individuals inside the school, the university and around the country. I have also received numerous phone calls. I want to publically thank everyone who has emailed or called. It has been nothing short of overwheliming the past few days. I believe I have answered each message individually and I am still going back through my messages trying to not miss any. I may have even answered some more than once. Just in case I have failed to answer someone, I hope you see this blog message. Thank you all, I appreciate all the kind notes and supportive comments. I look forward to this new challenge and working with the school of dentistry community, the university, and the dental profession at large to bring the VCU School of Dentistry to a new level of achievement in education, research, and patient care.
