{Richmond, Virginia} – VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation is excited to offer admission to their undergraduate certificate program in Human Centered Design to CodeRVA Regional High School students. 

“The skills that CodeRVA students develop in high school are natural building blocks for the type of innovative and entrepreneurial offerings at the da Vinci Center. We are excited to partner with CodeRVA to develop educational pathways that deliver 21st century skills through applied learning.”

VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation is a unique collegiate model that advances innovation and entrepreneurship through cross-disciplinary collaboration. The vision of VCU da Vinci Center is to impact communities through bold curiosity and intentional innovation. The official offer is limited to only students that are already accepted into VCU and will begin in Fall 2021. 

About VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation

The da Vinci Center is a collaboration of VCU’s School of Arts, Business and the Colleges of Engineering and Humanities and Sciences and VCU Health. The academic and experiential offerings of the VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation aim to create T-shaped individuals who are anchored in a discipline and have the capacity and openness to span across disciplines.

CodeRVA Regional High School provides an innovative learning environment that uses blended and project-based learning to develop students’ self-management skills while integrating academic content, agile workplace methodologies, and internship experiences that provide a pipeline of critical thinkers prepared to enter college or Richmond’s growing tech sector.
