INNO 591 is a cross-disciplinary, project-based course where students use foundational principles and practices of visual design by directly applying their skills to create a magazine for SHIFT Retail Lab. Students from different backgrounds and majors come together in this class to experiment in constructing content through design thinking, graphic design, and branding, and successfully complete a nearly 80-page magazine in roughly 15 weeks.

The launch party is all about the Shelfies! Shelfies are the entrepreneurs that are testing out their venture ideas on the shelves at SHIFT Retail Lab. Some of the Shelfies will be providing free samples of their food. Others will be selling their products at a mini holiday market.

Other free food and drinks will be provided, and the event will be located right across the street from the Siegel Center, where a basketball game will be happening right after the party.
