Top Hat is Free for VCU Students
Beginning with the summer 2021 semester, access to the Top Hat active learning platform is free for all VCU students. Students must be currently enrolled in at least one credit-bearing course with a “student” affiliation. Top Hat will automatically issue a refund to students who purchased a subscription for Summer 2021 courses. Top Hat is available for use in Canvas courses via an LTI integration. Instructors interested in using Top Hat will need to add the tool to their courses in Canvas.
