Connect with leaders shaping today’s business world
The VCU School of Business, in partnership with Universal Corporation, invites you to Expert Insights — a new program bringing leaders and the community to campus to share their practical expertise and discuss today’s most pressing issues. Each session includes breakfast, networking and an interactive presentation with business, community and university leaders.
Anchoring values with mission and purpose
Kicking off the Expert Insights series, Paul C. Harris, executive vice president and chief sustainability and compliance officer at Huntington Ingalls Industries (parent company of Newport News Shipbuilding), will share perspectives on corporate sustainability and responsibility from the nation’s largest military shipbuilding company.
The discussion will be moderated by David Skandera, assistant professor of strategic management for the department of management and entrepreneurship, whose expertise includes business-society relations, CSR/ESG and corporate sustainability.
