Sports, because of their unparalleled popularity, can advance human rights and positively impact social and economic development globally. As we celebrate International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, hear from VCU Center for Sport Leadership’s graduates and friends of the program on how they’re changing the world for the better. The panel will be moderated by a leading sport for development advocate and CSL’s Executive Director Carrie LeCrom, Ph.D. (M.S.’03/E; Ph.D.’07/E).

Recent Graduate Council application deadline
Did your student graduate in December? Encourage them to apply to serve on the VCU Alumni Recent Graduate Council. Members represent some of the best and brightest alumni of the past decade, and they help develop and implement engagement strategies to help their peers connect with one another, and the university, in new and exciting ways. Applications are due April 30, and selections will be announced by May 29.
