Last Chance to Register for Beyond Orientation Course for Parents and Families
The Beyond Orientation Course for parents and families is an online course offered on Thursday evenings throughout the fall semester. The program takes you beyond what you learn at orientation to give you a closer look at the first-year experience and what it means to be a student at today’s university. Each week you will hear from a different speaker across campus and you’ll be able to participate in the live online discussion to send in questions and comments to the speakers. If you can’t make live the class online each week, the course recordings are available online the next day for you to watch on your own. You will also participate in weekly discussions through the Blackboard discussion board to engage with other family members. We hope you’ll consider registering for the course.
