They are taught to consider both internal and external struggles to facilitate positive change and focus on social inequalities to improve society’s overall well-being especially for the most vulnerable populations.
Social workers choose this profession because the want to help. They want to find solutions and resolve society’s most difficult problems. They choose to be advocates, clinicians, leaders and activists.
