The Supreme Court’s DACA decision

Dear VCU and VCU Health Community,
The Supreme Court’s announcement this morning that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program will continue renews hope for so many young people across the nation we all share. It also reinforces what we all know, that no matter where you were born or how you came to college, you are a vital part of where we are going together and will help shape the shared human experience still to come.

We are proudly a community built on core values of inclusion and compassion toward one another. We celebrate the Court’s decision today, and we use this occasion to demonstrate the values that define us, guide us and unite us as one university made stronger by the broad perspectives and experiences of human beings everywhere. VCU will continue to embrace and support all of our people.
