New alumni series to celebrate pharmacy faculty
The Pharmacy Faculty Showcase, a new initiative billed as an “up-close speaker series,” will allow VCU School of Pharmacy alumni the chance to meet, greet and learn something new from current faculty innovators.
The five-part series will highlight the work of faculty members in February, March, April and May. Dean Joseph T. DiPiro will host, and each event includes breakfast or lunch.
Featured faculty are Michael Hindle, Department of Pharmaceutics; Patricia Slattum, K.C. Ogbonna and
Benjamin Van Tassell, Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science; and Umesh Desai, Department of Medicinal Chemistry. They will share news of their current projects and research.
