VCU Nursing Alumna Marilyn Tavenner Confirmed by Senate to Lead Medicare and Medicaid

Two-time VCU alumna Marilyn Tavenner, who earned her B.S. in nursing and her master’s in health administration (M.H.A.) from VCU, won confirmation from the Senate to serve as administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
