SON Faculty Recognized at VCUHS Excellence Awards Ceremony
Three SON faculty members were recognized at the VCU Health System’s annual Excellence Awards ceremony on Dec. 18. The Health System honored 14 nurses from across the organization for awards and recognitions they’ve received from external professional nursing organizations in 2014. The SON honorees and their awards included:
- Lauren Goodloe, Ph.D., RN, assistant dean for clinical operations and clinical associate professor – the Virginia Nurses Foundation’s Nancy Vance Award
- Jeanne Salyer, Ph.D., associate professor in the department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems – the March of Dimes’ Education/Research/Author Award
- Angela Starkweather, Ph.D., ACNP-BC, CNRN, FAAN, associate professor and chair of the Department of Adult Health and Nursing System – American Academy of Nursing Fellow.
