Nursing students collecting donations for Thanksgiving baskets
The undergraduate community health students in NURS 415 Clinical Section 010 are working this semester at the Richmond Health District’s Resource Centers at Fairfield and Whitcomb Courts. The students have been working with five families throughout the semester. Nursing students and the School of Nursing would like to give something tangible to these families who have welcomed our students into their homes and lives. During the next two weeks, the School will collect donations to fill five Thanksgiving baskets.
Please stop by the student lounge and “sign-up” for an item to bring. We need all donations in the box by noon on Tuesday, Nov. 16. If you are planning to bring a frozen turkey, please call to arrange for storage.
