Hayes E. Willis Health Center Tweens and Teens Health Summit
VCU School of Nursing in partnership with the Hayes E. Willis Health Center participated in the first VCU Division of Community Engagement “Caring to Act” event in August 2010. The Hayes E. Willis Health Center Tweens and Teens Health Summit was held at George Wythe High School on August 28.
More than 120 people participated in the event. The summit focused on healthy behaviors and strategies for achieving academic excellence. Additionally, there were speakers who focused on such topics as paying for college, career development, and conflict resolution.
